Looking at old family albums can bring back wonderful memories. My aunt Margarida has put together an album of our family, and I love looking at the pictures, even the ones taken before I was born, where I see my grandparents and great grandparents so young. It makes one wish one could time travel...

Yes! Aren't old family photos great? I just visited my parents and got to meet some of my dad's cousins...who I never knew existed. Crazy story. We sat around and looked at a bunch of photos from the early 1900s...one of my favorite things to do. It gives you such a sense of your place in the world, and in the family. And helps you appreciate the ones who came before you.
ReplyDeleteYour aunt Margarida is a treasure indeeed!

ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the kind comments about my little penguin with the toilet paper on Watercolor Wednesdays! He's actually the main character of my book, PATRICK THE SOMNAMBULIST, which was published this year :)
