I have just joined a new art blog called "Watercolor Wednesdays" and this was my first entry for our very first theme: "It was a dark and stormy night..." So I thought I would draw a little bunny trying to make his way home through a big storm (he makes it safe and sound, everyone!)
you have great skill in watercolor!
ReplyDeletevery nice!
Very expressive, the atmosphere is just right. The bunny looks cool and chilly, facing problem to step forward.

Hee hee, another bunny-lover! Do you count bunnies instead of sheep at night... I do!
ReplyDeleteThis is so great. Love the action you create with the rain drops and the position of the bunny's body. Great stuff, as always.
That new Watercolor blog seems very cool! Thanks for sharing the link!
I hope he's on his way home to a hot cup of tea and a cracklin' fire.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful watercolour!
For how windy looks the weather -great atmosphere!- I'm sure he arrived but without the umbrella.
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast between the cold colours and he warm orange from the bunny.
This is so adorable and the way you painted the rain effect is fantastic... tough to do! Love the carrots on the umbrella.
